Security & Privacy

Truckers hand us tax data, so we hold ourselves to a simple standard: collect as little as possible, protect everything we touch, and be specific — not vague — about how. Here is exactly how this site and our filing service are secured.

This website collects nothing — by design

www.consulics.com is a static informational site with no database, no user accounts, no contact forms, and no backend that stores anything. Our free calculators and checkers run entirely in your browser: the weights, VINs, and USDOT numbers you type into them are never transmitted, logged, or stored. There is simply no visitor data here to breach.

Hardened against common web attacks

Every page is served over HTTPS with HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) and preloading, framing is blocked site-wide (X-Frame-Options: DENY) to prevent clickjacking, MIME-sniffing is disabled, a Content-Security-Policy restricts what can execute, and browser features like camera, microphone, and geolocation are disabled outright via Permissions-Policy. The referrer policy limits what other sites learn when you click away.

Infrastructure with no servers to hack

The site is served from a global edge network rather than a self-managed server — there is no exposed admin panel, no login page, and no server for attackers to probe. Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) mitigation is handled at the platform edge before traffic ever reaches the site.

The filing application is a separate, secured system

When you file, you do so on app.consulics.com — an independent application this website only links to. All data in transit is encrypted with modern TLS. We do not store your card details: payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways. As an IRS-Authorized e-File Provider, we adhere to the IRS's security requirements for transmitters handling tax data.

What you can do on your side

Always check that the address bar shows consulics.com or app.consulics.com with the padlock before entering anything. We will never ask for your password, full card number, or EIN by email. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from Consulics, don't click — forward it to support@consulics.com and we'll confirm.
